Importing demo content

This step isn’t necessary, but if you want to start with the same content like on our Live Preview, or you are not experienced WordPress user you should follow this step.

If you’ve installed One Click Demo Import plugin, you’ll find submenu page under Appearance tab with the title Import Demo Data. There you’ll find all of our Demo web sites. Just click big blue button and that’s it. You’ll have to wait depending of the speed of your internet.

Another way is to go to Tools -> Import in the blog’s admin panels.

Click on the WordPress and follow the instructions if Import plugin isn’t installed yet (3.0+).

Browse for myriadwp.xml and Upload

You will first be asked to map the authors in this export file to users on the blog. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on the blog or to create a new user

Don’t forget to tick Download and import file attachments

WordPress will then import each of the posts, comments, menus and categories contained in this file into your blog, but you’ll manually to assign menus and to customize Theme options.

As you can see, it’s much easier if you use One Click Demo Import plugin.

Another option to add content from our Demo examples is to use Brankic Templates section in Visual Composer. There you’ll find every page (and many content blocks)  from our demos and you can insert it. Don’t worry about images, you’ll see them on your website, but, of course, you should replace them with your own.
