Installing theme

You can install the theme in 2 ways: By using the ZIP file provided in package from Theme Forest and uploading via your WordPress Admin, or by using the myriadwp/ directory (containing the theme’s files), and uploading via FTP.

Using the ZIP file

The theme comes already packaged in a ZIP archive called myriadwp.zip. You can use this archive to install the theme on your WordPress site.
To install your theme, do the following:

  1. Login into your WordPress Admin section (http://www.your-web-site.com/wp-admin)
  2. Go to Appearance > Themes
  3. Click on the Add New button, next to the “Manage Themes” heading
  4. Click on Upload
  5. Click on Browse and look for the myriadwp.zip file (this file is INSIDE the zipped file you’ve downloaded from ThemeForest).
  6. Click on Install Now.

This procedure will install the Myriadwp theme on your WordPress site. You can activate the theme after it has been uploaded.

Using the myriadwp/ directory

The theme’s files are located inside the myriadwp / directory. To install into your server via FTP, do the following:

Login to your WordPress site with your preferred FTP client

Navigate to the /wp-content/themes/ directory

Upload the myriadwp/ directory inside the /wp-content/themes/ directory

After the upload is complete, you will be able to choose the Myriadwp theme from Appearance > Themes. You can then proceed to activate the theme and start using it.

There’s only one default menu location in Myriadwp – Primary Menu. You must create and assign your menu to that location. If you’ve imported demo content via One Click Demo Import plugin, you’ll have menu assigned (just like on our Live preview).

If you don’t create menu, you’ll have all published pages listed.
